Dhamana Guarantee Company is a credit guarantee vehicle, dedicated to the East African capital market for domestic funding of long term (infrastructure) assets, similar to InfraCredit in Nigeria and InfraZamin in Pakistan.

Dhamana focuses on local institutional investors, providing the basis for delivery of a sustained flow of local currency debt products into the real economy.

The investors benefiting from the guarantees become familiar with the risks associated with long-term asset finance, such as infrastructure, and gradually develop an appetite for unguaranteed investments.

Social Infra Ventures will develop and own greenfield affordable housing and social infrastructure projects (such as healthcare, education and sport facilities, and civic service) in North and West Africa.

Social Infra Ventures has two promotors: Cardano Development and AIP, a vehicle of the venture’s management. Social Infra Ventures is supported by JoDEA through a development grant.

The Development Guarantee Group (DGG) is a specialist advisory and asset management company, co-founded by Cardano Development, focused on creating innovative guarantee solutions that help deliver the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
